EB-Reading Minds

Ah so an interesting bit of my EB headcanons here. Paula is the only one who can actively read minds. Poo can read minds too, but he's trained NOT to read minds unless he has permission, and he has trained to block people from reading his mind. Paula though can't help herself. She's still young and she can easily jump between minds and often over hears people's thoughts even if she didn't mean to listen in on what they're thinking. This is how she's able to really understand that Monotoli wasn't a bad guy because she could tell he wasn't in his right mind. She can also feel hearts, like intentions and positive spirits. 

Ness and Jeff have VERY different minds. We've seen Ness's mind, he's a bit all over the place, and a garbled mess of popart, food, and weird zanyness that only makes sense to him. Paula has a real hard time hearing his thoughts, and it might be because he has PSI that naturally reflects her abilities. Sure she can communicate into his mind, but looking into his mind and trying to make sense of it takes a lot of work for her and she gets a headache easily. 

Jeff on the other hand has a non-psi brain so it's very easy for Paula to read, but it's by no means empty. What on the surface looks like a vast plane of space, is lined with ideas, numbers and words. Like a chalkboard his mind is always taking in information and working out the small details about what he sees. Sadly between the 3 boys, his brain is the easiest to read, and Paula tends to fall into reading his mind without his permission. He thinks louder then he talks,so he'll think something and she'll reply to him like he said it outloud. He'll get mad at her for ease dropping on his thoughts.
