Yah know...Have you read JtHM?...One of the 1st comics of his is how he hates the word 'Wacky'. I don't hate it like he does, but I do get why when marketers use the word to describe something overly cartoony, it's a rather TERRIBLE word. When drawing all these Super Cartoony Gorillaz things, it makes me glad that the real band never gets THIS stupid, but as a fan, I can have fun like that.

Yes they are made to look like a Ren and Stimpy style. I drew this after watching both the old show and the adult version (it's not as good as the old version but it has it's moments), and it's a show that's influenced my messed up mind since early childhood. I think I like Murdoc so much cause I love Ren so much. There are very similar dynamics between them, but 2D is WAY smarter then Stimpy...hard to believe. These two are a British Odd Couple Comedy Thing, not a Hanna Barbara cartoon...ok maybe they're a Looney Tunes Cartoon...

This will be the last time I'll draw them like this...unless you REALLY LIKE it. I think it's a bit too dumb, but it is fun to draw. Funny, this was the 1st time I drew them like this.
