THIS DOES NOT apply to a mass fav of one image at one time. This goes for ONE person FAVing more then 200 images of someone's gallery, at one time, without leaving a single comment.

I mean really do you know how much of a mess it is to clean up in the back lot? When you have over 1000 images it's a real pain to go through all of that.

Some people don't mind it, for me it's a real pisser of way to compliment. If you want to fav 10 things great. If you want to fav 50 things alright. 100 things ok then that's getting crazy. But I have over 1000 images and if you fav EVERY SINGLE image that is NOT a compliment.

Kept this stamp simple for time reasons. I'll comment more later.

This is exactly the kind of stamp I am looking for! While I prefer comments over faves, I won't really complain if someone faves without commenting... but to fave my ENTIRE gallery without even a single comment is just... ARGH! Totally wanna use this!

Oh, and I'm faving. I commented, right? XD

I usually don't comment on deviations that I fav because I don't really have anything worth-while to say. I'd like to be able to add to a conversation or say something that would benefit the artist... and usually, I just can't think of anything good.

I have reorganized my favs so that the collection I put it in says what needs to be said for me. If I do end up favbombing a particular account (which isn't often), I do try to watch them too. (I mean, If I like half their gallery, chances are that I'll like their new stuff too.)

Honestly, I would love to get favbombed. That means that somebody likes my work enough to go through my gallery rather than just faving what's on the front page. It may not be an actual comment but it's still feedback.

Now I know you're probably talking about favbots, but if a bot bombs you, you just don't give that person any attention. They're making your artwork more popular anyway, and that's a good thing, isn't it?

I wouldn't mind haveing that many faves there is a X on the side of a you got a fav along with the fact I look at them and just slightly feel the twitch of Pride when I know I did something right to have someone fav happy on my gallery.

Meh for me, I don't care if I get a shit ton of fav's and no comments. As long as someone likes it thats fine by me. I just go through he list and if its a ton of fav's by the same person, I will post a journal saying thanks to all those who faved and then I delete them all in one fell swoop.

I don't know I am a fav whore, I will fav a ton of stuff, but I will check the comments, more often than not, what I ahve to say someone else has already said, why spam with the exact same comment?

Nghhh. I'm on a comment spree, so regularly I wouldn't comment on this because I'm just browsing.

But to me this doesn't make sense:

If I don't have the time to comment at least once, why would I have the time to go through your gallery and fav+ over 50 times? (20, I can understand, but 50+ is just crazy)

Wow, I didn't know there were people who favourited 200 of someone's images at one time to neccesitate a stamp like this.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you should be grateful that these artists take the time to look at your work. Sure a comment would be nice and show more appreciation but is it really so much to fret over if somebody doesn't? Surely they do that with other artists as well so you wouldn't be alone. I say the etiquette in this place makes little sense, because there are those who fave/watch and don't comment and those who whine when you thank someone for favouriting.

Ah see but what I find is that these artist who'll fav over half of my gallery end up faving half of someone else's gallery, and then move on to the next one after the other, without any insight as to why the like the pics other then just to fav as many things as possible. While some people love that treatment, some people like MYSELF feel that it is a waste of time and in the end won't bring up the value of my art.

Plus the mess you have to clean up in the backlot is annoying because you can't just delete ALL of your fav messages because you want to thank the people who faved one item and you'd rather get to know who that person is.

I see your point. It's a shame when you don't know why someone likes your art. I suppose however this applies to people like you who wish to know how to improve their art. I'm still surprised that happens, and if they did favourite as many as 100 pieces of your art or even 50 (which itself is astonishing), I know I'd be asking questions xD

I do know how you feel. We wish people would stop for a moment and leave some form of comment, but unfortunately there are people like that who just fave and run. I wouldn't consider it an insult, but it's not as much of a compliment if I don't know why
